Lacusraptor

Lacusraptor, the lake thief. With a body length up to 40cm and an insatiable desire for stealing anything they can drag back with them underwater, this small amphibian is known for causing a lot of trouble for fishermen, campers and tourists that stop by to enjoy the many lakes of the New Lemuria province. Objects reported stolen vary from cellphones, jewellery, fish hooks, cups, hats, food, caught fishes, toys, lighters, bait and many more. This behavior seems to have initiated with the stealing of eggs from a now extinct bird species that used to nest around the lakes shores of New Lemuria. In fact, given the opportunity, a Lacusraptor will prefer to steal eggs or egg shaped objects. Campers are advised to avoid leaving campfires unattended for there have been cases of Lacusraptors dying while trying to steal embers.
