Summoning a new familiar is always a lot of work, their physical inconsistency can lead to constant need of energy infusion. That is way some practitioners prefer to work with an anchor and binding glyphs combined with an infused pearl to keep the familiar's manifestation clear and even until its phasing stage ends and the familiar can exist freely.
