Brothers

Life has always been hard on the cold mountain tops. Low temperatures, snowstorms, sharp cutting winds, a harsh place that demands respect from anyone that dare live there. The Indui people knew this very well and always treated the mountains and all its lifeforms as family members with a deep love and admiration. But from all of them the one creature that they shared the deepest bonds were the Indui-snowhound. They weren't only considered family members, they were considered the same as the Indui people itself. Every newborn Indui is paired with a snowhound cub and raised as brothers, they live together, hunt together, sleep together, they rely on one another and trust each other with their lives. We can't really say when this partnership started, but the Indui say that there has never been a time when they were apart. It was extremely sad that they disappeared, but at least they went to the beyond together, just as they lived.
